As a Community Rehabilitation Provider for the KY Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR), [email protected] provides Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS). Brought about by regulation additions to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act* (WIOA), students ages 14 to 21 who have an IEP or 504 Plan, are entitled to receive Pre-ETS services. The purpose of Pre-ETS is to educate and prepare youth with disabilities for the best possible post-secondary outcomes whether it be attending college / technical school or obtaining meaningful, competitive employment. Pre-ETS classes address the following areas:
Job Exploration Counseling
Post-Secondary Counseling
Self-Advocacy Instruction
Work-Based Learning Experiences
Workplace Readiness Training
